Refund to guest

Linda booked in with me on the 16th July for two nights. Our State Government imposed a lockdown only hours before she was due to arrive making it impossible for her to receive a refund for the first night. I have said I would give her a refund but had to wait for my next booking ( still in lockdown) because I wasn't sure if you would give her a refund for the first night when I received this next booking and you witheld the proceeds.

She has advised she now has advice from you saying you it is " pending" and awaiting for me to respond. How can I respond when you have never written to me.

The solution is simple. You give Linda a refund for one night including her fees and deduct the net amount I have recived from my next booking. 

Please advise what course of action you will be taking so I can respond accordingly.
