Reuse of Refund Coupon

So, I was refunded my cancelation cost for a booking I made in the form of a one-time-use coupon. Unfortunately, I used it for a booking that only made use of 60% of the value of the coupon. Now, I am not able to reuse it for any other booking.

I feel this one-time use policy is unfair, especially if the coupon pertains to refund of customers' money, as Airbnb should allow customers to fully utilize the value of their coupons. In this case, this was essentially my cancellation cost refund and not some referral coupon. Also, I have tried to get in touch with Airbnb multiple times with no one calling back to resolve the situation. I am really disappointed and feel shortchanged here.

@Aditya61  You feel shortchanged because you HAVE been shortchanged.  I had heard that this was the case - that these coupons they've been handing out for cancellations can only be applied once, no matter how much is left over.  It's just wrong.  Imagine if you buy someone a $100 gift certificate.  The person spends $60 and the store says, sorry, that's it, we're just going to go ahead and keep the $40 you didn't spend.  There's a word for that - what is it? - oh, that's right, it's stealing.  I can't believe Airbnb's system is unable to cope with simple credits applied in increments.
