Hello everyone!
The world is a little crazy right now, sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in everything, and we forget to take a moment for ourselves.
You might be familiar with the movie “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” where he says:
“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
I thought that it might be nice if we take a mindful moment, and spend a few minutes observing the space around us.
Please share with us in the comments the view from your window - you can describe it with words - or maybe you’d like to share a photo with us. You can talk about how it makes you feel, and for those (like me!) who are working from home, did you choose a particular window for a reason?
If you don’t have a view from a window as you read this, feel free to let us know your favourite spot at home, or maybe there’s a spectacular view at your listing you’d like to share! The photo I’ve shared above is the view from my front door at sunset, as this is my view when I go for a coffee break.
Looking forward to your replies!
Jenny
Good Glorious Morning Jenny!
I'll bite - happy to share what is another amazing Autumn day on our mountaintop!
This was yesterday morning from the kitchen window, looking east!
Yesterday afternoon from the kitchen
Yesterday afternoon looking west from the Guest Suite, to the Ocean
And, sunset yesterday looking west from the porch for the Guest Suite.
I call this sunset "Peach Mist"
With all best wishes from our house to yours!

I'd "like" this a thousand times if I could, @Kitty-and-Creek0!
I was really hoping that you'd come and share some of your amazing views, and you came through!
Do you have a favourite? I'd feel spoiled for choice!

Hi Jenny!
Such an excellent question...
My favorite has to always be the view I am looking at right now. I think I have mentioned earlier that living here in this house and location is like living in an IMAX theatre. My friends and I have a habit of sharing what the day looks like to us, and yesterday was quite something for sharing, as the light changed all day making for so many photos. The clouds are a show in themselves, and always fascinating. We get a lot of exercise just looking in every direction to see what is happening out there. The full moon makes night time amazing. We watched the full moon rise last night with Mars following it big, bright and very red.
We're off for a walk in the forest today, to see what fungi are showing up...and to check our trail cameras for what wildlife is out and about. The forest is so exquisitely fragrant right now. The deep fallen leaves are wet, so footfalls are silent, with a little "squish." The Autumn colors are magnificent. This is one of my 4 favorite times of years on this mountain!
Sending best wishes to all...
Kitty
There's nothing better than taking in nature on an Autumn day! Feel free to share any photos you might take on your walk!
Stunning!!
Kitty set the bar so high with some wonderful vistas. As per Jenny's suggestion (her photo is gr8 also) 'about your favourite spot' since my window view is standard city building - I'll share with you: Queen Mary's Garden. <5min walk from my home.
This is a park within a park, in Regents Park, that, Queen Mary opened for the nation in 1932. With 12.000's roses, open air theatre, begonias, shrubberies, statues, waterfalls, a large bar, ducks etc, is the best 'corner' of any park in London for me.
above 'collage' was from internet search images,
this pic is taken by me, here you can get the idea of
a 'park within a park' Q.M. Garden is a perfect circle,
majestic gates on 2 sides and completely surrounded
What a truly beautiful garden @Bes175 - I must go and see it when I'm down in London. Do you visit often?
I go often there, usually during spring/summer. Indeed is a wonderful place @Jenny, you are welcomed to visit & you'll love it.
Baker St, is <5 min walk & the address of this guy 🙂
Oh fantastic @Bes175 - just my sort of thing! Plus I love the Gerry Rafferty song about Baker Street!
Not the greatest photo - but this one I took while out running this afternoon.
My house - and also my listing - are right on the other side of the bay.
I've had these guys outside my window all week, the grevilleas are in full bloom and they are popping in for lunch every day.
