Student Nurses staying with us for 6 weeks

I have five advanced nursing students from the University of New England renting from us for 6 weeks as they continue their Rotation at  hospitals in Eastern Maine.

1) Will Airbnb waive their fees during this stay per recent COVID-19 Policy?

2) They've asked to pay rent week-to-week. How can we handle that given their desire to conserve cash flow?

3) The State of Maine charges a 9% Occupancy Tax unless: "The renter rents for more than 28 days AND the renter is renting for either business or education purposes". I've requested an Affidavit from them and their University. How I I request this waiver and file the paperwork with Airbnb.
