Trips cancellations by Host due to Covie-19

We are hosts in an area that has not been inundated by Covid-19 yet.  That being said, our Governor has advised that the public be prepared for school

closings, cancellations, etc.  We have guests scheduled to arrive this weekend coming from an area in the U.S. which has closed schools in that area as precautionary measures.  If we were to cancel the reservation re protection from the spread of Coronavirus, would we be penalized? Have sent message to Airbnb and am awaiting response. Thank you for your input.

Have you looked at their EC policy for the virus. If not have a look at that as it shows you under which circumstances you can cancel penalty free @Ken-And-Denise0
