@Chris-And-Kara1 airbnb is full of glitches at different times and i bet this is one of them.
I think your best bet is to leave it alone for 1/2 day - day and then try again. ( so long as you are sure you are actually following the right procedure)
This forum is a great place to come and get practical advice from hosts. You can also contact airbnb - clicking the help button - you might have to go through several pages, they don't make it easy.
It will do you no good at all to ring customer support about a technical issue - they wouldn't have a clue - all they will do is "refer the matter to the technical department" which is airbnb speak for do nothing.
Perhaps make a saved copy of all your text in a word document, delete the info from the boxes that are saying they need to be filled out and re enter?
In my experience though, when the platform is playing up it's best to walk away and come back later, otherwise HOURS can be wasted.....
