WTH? Guests can now cancel + get for refund if ANYONE in their group gets ill or their event cancels?

Am I reading the new Airbnb T . O . S  contract correctly?

Because it reads (to me,) as if guests can cancel if they or anyone else in their group gets ill. 

Also, if their event cancels, they can cancel as well?

Also, if their flight gets cancelled?

Isn't this what Traveler's Insurance is for?

@Diane15 That is the old extenuating circumstances policy, what has been in effect and is currently in effect, actually. You will notice it says "Effective until: January 19, 2021"

The new policy, see "Effective date: January 20, 2021" down toward the bottom of the page, will give hosts much more control over their cancelation policies.
