airbnb admitted they refunded guests by mistake

Hello to all hosts,

 

I called many times and get someone to looked into the refund matter.

Airbnb admitted it was a mistake by giving full refund to the guest.
The call was recorded.

case manager refund guests without my approval.

since then, case manager ignored me and there is no help at all after they found out it was their mistake.

 

Does this happened to any of you?

I would like to have some advices.

Contact Airbnb through Twitter. I've had them do the same thing to me, and I never get return phone calls or emails, even after repeatedly calling and emailing. They will close your case without even notifying you or offering a resolution unfortunately.

Hi I have the same problem. 

Yesterday I requested an extension for a quest for 15 days at a lower price. Airbnb refunded him for the previous two months 1400 euro and they charged me the amount. As a result not to be able to collect the money for the 15 days and an amount from a second apartment that I have. 

I was told that the money has to be collected again from the quest with his approval. 

What happens if the quest refuses to give back the money?

When I asked I did not get a clear answer. 

Does anyone know?

Also why do I have to wait 15days to get paid?

It is not my mistake.

 

There are problems for collecting the money when there is a modification of the dates.
It is safer to do a new reservation with the new dates.

 

For 1400€, fell free to sue Airbnb if they don't pay.
They are responsible for collecting the money, paiements and reimbursments.

And the forbid hosts to ask money directly to guets.

So they are totally responsible.
