cancelation policy

i am new to airbnb

i had a booking for sept made jan 17

client cancelled jan 30

got a full refund

my policy is strict

full refund 48 hrs after making booking

half refund after that 

no refund within less than 7 days

why did they get full refund??

Was the reservation cancelled by the guest or by Airbnb (extenuating circumstances or guest account suspended? ). Only Airbnb can provide you the answer why guest recieved full refund while not entitled to it regarding the cancellation policy.
