cancelled reservation

our reservation was cancelled by air b and b, not the host. does anyone have any idea why this would happen? the host only knew because we contacted them.

we have called air B and B and they said our money was refunded but could not give explanation as to why the res was cancelled. the listing is now gone as well.

any insight would help.

Maybe there was a security issue with the listing or a issue with the account of the host, airbnb will not share it with you.

Your profil is not complete.

You did not dowload any copy of an ID.

Now, Airbnb check more strictly the travellers to protect the community because some offenses happened in Airbnb homes such as drugs, prostitution, shootings).

In addition, your photo is not a face picture of you. False photo.

And you have no review.

If you already use Airbnb and that there was a serious problem or if you booked an entire home around where you live, it may be cancelled (risk to do à party).

In this case, you can try to book a share home.

In other words, complete your profil and it should work.
