guest number

Dear Community

When I browse places using the map, I see prices of the places.

There is a button for adding guests. I click that, and it says 1 Guest. The price does not change.

Does this mean that the booking will be for 1 guest beside me, the price simply is not based on number of guests?

Or, when there is the two of us, should I set 2 guests? If this is the case, the ui should not allow "1 guest", but immediately jump to 2, when I click it.

I was searching the help articles, forums, but there is no clear indication for me, whether the guest number is counting me or not.

@Dávid11

1 guest = the booker

2 guests = the booker + a second person (can also be a child)

etc...

Some listings charge extra for additional guests (above a set treshold, can also be set to 1). Then price increases when increasing the amount of guests above the treshold.

@David11 you are the guest David , anyone else is another guest , not your guest but the hosts guest. At the end of your booking you need to pay for all the persons staying including yourself even if you are paying for everyone. You are all guests not hosts H
