I have many requests for booking from guests that do not have reviews on Airbnb.  Why is this?

Thank you and that's a good point. I currently require at least one positive review. I do have a long-term booking in another room and I want to think of her comfort.

Because they have created their account recently ?

I also recieve a lot of inquiries/booking requests from new accounts.

You have to deal with it, by asking some questions. and/or ask for ID verification.

After that i accept about 70% and they are usually fine guests.

Otherwise ask them to retract the booking request (no decline needed)

On Inquiries just answer (no obligation to decline)

@Scott1414  I've accepted several guests with no reviews and they all turned out to be fine guests. The key element is communication.

If no host ever accepts a new to Airbnb guest with no reviews yet, how on earth would they ever get their first review?

For that matter, how would a host ever start hosting if no one booked with them because they had no reviews yet??
