hi everyone, 

i had 4 requests and 1 (possible) booking for one month, as i understood it was requests from same family (under different names  trying to book my place) that insisted  on a very low price for one month (price  for 1 person but wanted me to accommodate 4-5 people instead ) so i ended up declining their request and the one reservation they tried to make under the same dates but with different names and only booking as 1 person stay.

My place shows as listed , but isn't visable on  on map. then i read that if you decline too many bookings (which was one  possibly and the others inquiaries )

my listing will get suspended ... i'm not sure if i am. how do i fix this...

I am a little confused by your post. It is you the host who sets the price. @Saloni2 

 

You have a price and if that doesn't work for the guests then they need to find alternative within their budget.

 

I would suggest you give Airbnb a call and explain the situation with this group.

 

Ask Airbnb to block these guests so they can't contact you again.

they had clicked to book for one person.(that shows them the price for one person) but in a private messege through airbnb, they asked  me to accept the booking for one person but there will be a total of 4 people staying.. So i replied and declined it.. 

one had even booked it... with same inquiary. and i declined that also. All 5 requests had different names but same dates and messeges.

i got alittle fustrated  as i am new to airbnb

 Just give them a call @Saloni2  It is the easiest way to get an answer (use Contact Airbnb post at the top of the forum for their numbers).

 

Tell them the group has been making multiple bookings for one when they have acknowledged four will be travelling. That they make you uncomfortable and would like Airbnb to block them from contacting you (as they removed the function that enabled hosts to do that themselves).

J'ai constaté avec stupeur que maintenant Airbnb lors d'une réservation dans le moteur de recherche, donne priorité aux voyageur les établissements qui font des réservations flexibles!

Je trouve que cette démarche est malhônnette et et vise aux bénéfices propres d'Airbnb elle-même.

En effet, en mettant en avant ce type  de réservation, Airbnb pénalise tous les hôtes qui essayons de faire le mieux pour les voyageurs et qui voulons en même-temps une certaine protection.

De ce fait, pour ceux qui sommes en " réservation stricte" nos annonces passent en deuxième plan, même pour ceux qui sommes des "superhôts" et qui faisons des gros efforts pour accueillir dans les meilleures qualités d'hébergement!

Cela c'est de la mauvaise foi de la part d'Airbnb et dénote un mépris pour nous les hôtes. C'est vraiment lamentable!

J'espère que cette maladresse sera  bientôt corrigée et que nous pourrons avoir le respect dû à nos efforts!

Nous faisons un travail d'équipe, car il ne faut pas oublier que sans nous, les hôtes, Airbnb ne pourrait pas exister!
