unwanted bank fees

I got several tickets for hosting through Airbnb. In the months that followed, the bank that owned my mortgage charged me legal and other fees adding up to over $1500 US dollars. I have my own lawyers taking care of the tickets and never asked the bank for any help legal or otherwise. Every month I paid my mortgage to the bank.  After over 6 months of trying to get an answer they just said they see the fees as legitimate. They wouldn't give me any more details. Has any one else gotten unknown or unwanted fees by their bank? My bank should not be able to charge me any fee they want to at any time.    And I am fighting the tickets that NYC gave me. Doing Airbnb is helping me stay in the home I grew up in.    Skip
