Hello everyone,
I hope you are well.
I’ve been sharing a lot of your feedback with Airbnb teams. Some of them are really interested in getting your point of view on certain parts of the product, specifically. The Host Success team is working on ways to support Hosts and provide the tools you need to host successfully.
They are currently evaluating feature changes to the desktop Reservations List (https://www.airbnb.com/my_reservations) and would love to hear from you on how you use it:
I will share the feedback you submit on THIS topic specifically with the Host Success team.
Thank you so much and I look forward to hearing from you.
Lizzie

To me the Reservation List is useful. I think Steve (first repply in this topic) has pointed the importance of this list.
If it is not too much to ask (I believe it is), I would like to be able to sort it by date of booking (different from period of stay), by country and by cancelled reservations by the guests.
I use it if I need to message the next guest, or it there's an alteration to their booking. Quick and simple way to manage the reservations! Can't think of anything I would like to see changed.
A couple of really easy fixes would make life much easier:
1. On the conversation pages; once a resrvation is confrimed, a button to 'Print Conformation' would be great there on the same page > rather than having to go and find it somewhere in the reservations/calendar/dashboard. As soon as somebody has confrimed, we have to go searching for their reservation to pront the confirmation. (as a side note, my confirmation prints go to 2 pages with nothing of any use on the second page, A4 210x297mm).
2. A choice to see reservations by property/room etc. rather than just chronologically.
Thanks
Hello. The feedback I have is that it would be much better if Airbnb automatically sent out our rental agreement when a guest is confirmed. Additionally, if Airbnb could automatically charge/add the 10% manditory transiency tax that our area charges guests. (other rental sites automatically do both and it's more professional than the host having to separately send and change for this!).
I rarely use it. I prefer to view everything through the calendar and click on individual reservations if I need to. I also like to add notes to each reservation. Quick visual reminders why the guest is coming or what I need to add to the room for this specific guest, etc. without going back and reading the whole message thread. I like how in the calendar view, you can hover the mouse over the reservation and the note appears. I find this much more useful then the reservation list.
I find the links to printing the confirmation useful - both so I can see what info gets provided to the guest as a part of the confirmation, and so that I have easy access to getting in touch with them and clarifying details like # of guests, etc.
Or add some functionality to the... Calendar.. which shows (or would if built properly) the same thing but over a much wider period of time, is easier to understand and quicker to review at a glance. If the calendar had
- a pop up when you rollover each date to show more details of the booking
- showed the daily rate on the calendar itself
Then you could maybe kill off the reservation view.
Hello Lizzie,
In Portugal we register and pay tax so we need to have the Airbnb fee receipt on record. I use My reservations to download this and to verify the booking date. It would be great if, like someone suggested, you would make the page easier to get to, from the Host drop down menu. Also if we could export all receipts in one Excel file.
Thank you!
It would be even better if everytime we receive your email with the congratulations new reservation, in that email would come your comission invoice. Or having a clearer menu to do so, possibility to sort them by reservation date. Innsome countries like Portugal we have a such demanding fiscal matters and it would be very helpfull if it could be improved.
Great idea! Ihope it translates into making our lives easier 🙂
one thing that is urgent is to be able to access and export, all at once, the airbnb fee invoice, for hosts.
we do need it for tax purposes, by booking date order, and it is a total nightmare to do it one by one.
something simple and easy has the payout list, that one just exports to excel would be amazing.
thank you.
I use both the calendar and the reservation list.
I use the calendar for a quick overview of when I have guests coming. I use the reservation list to see the details.
I think this page is useful; however, it should be:
1) integrated with the transaction history to have all in one place.
2) If airbnb wants to keep finance separated from reservation, at least the reservation list should be exactly as the transaction history list with the following navigation
- navigate by years including past reservation
- navigate by listing
- navigate by month to month
3) easier to reach. Before there was a link in the menu.
Downloading VAT invoices and controling transactions is the main purpose. I also use it when I don't see reservation confirmation in INBOX and I need to confirm the details (happens, when a guest makes two reservations in my place).
I use It all the time it is very helpful. Though I would like to be able to search back to specific dates without having to go back through the pages.
