Accepted reservation request percentage

I understand that the accepted reservation request percentage is calculated over the past year.  What I don't understand is how this percentage can go down when there have been no enquiries nor requests.  So a week ago, it was at 88%, then it went to 87% and now it is on 86%.  But over the past week I have received no enquiries not requests.

AirBnB have explained that this percentage can go down when there is "no activity" but this seems to be very unfair because as hosts we have no control on whether guests make reservation requests or enquiries (other than offering an attractive listing etc.).

@Henriette4- That's because it's rolling. The year moves forward. Days fall over from the past 365 days, and new ratings from present 365 days take precedence.
