Blocked dates keep getting opened up

I block 6 weeks in advance and up. Several dates get opened up two months in advance. I block those. Other dates nearby get opened up. I block again. Three times this has happened. What am I missing in the blocking software? Getting tires of having to decline reservations for dates that should have never been opened in the first place

Here is one long time airbnb SW "qwirk" that can cause what you describe:

1) Select a range of dates. Click "Blocked" and "Save Changes"

2) Select another range of dates (that intersects or overlaps with dates you blocked off). Enter a new price. Click "Save Changes"

Your previously blocked dates (step 1) will be unblocked where they overlap/intersect with the second range (step 2)

I am having the opposite problem.  My calendar is NOT blocked, but airbnb won't allow me to book a guest because it says my property is not available for those dates, when it actually is.  I can't find a way to talk to anyone at airbnb, either.  Help - I'm about to lose my 2nd booking...
