Cancellation by guest

Hi. I'm new to Air BnB. My guest cancelled within an hour of making the booking. I would like to waive my cancellation policy. How do I do that please?

Depending on what your policy was your guest will be refunded in line with that. Wait and see what, if any, payment you receive. You can then decide if you wish to refund some or all of what you receive. Remember that your guest will not be refunded the booking fee they paid to AirBnB.

Assuming you are paid the 50%, and you would like to refund it back to your (non) guests, you can make the offer via the resolution centre.

You should be able to refund the full amount less the Airbnb fee through the resolution center.  It will give you an option of the amount you wish to refund.  You can also speak to someone in person who can help you, especialy since you are new to hosting.  Good luck.
