Cancellation

Hi,

I am very new to airbnb as a host but as a guest have used it in past many times.

I had my booking for a whole month that was fine at the moment of booking. But situation has changed 7 days before guests arrival. We have got a family member illness and 1 month rent is too much for us so could be happy with 1 week maximum.

Unfortunately I cancelled myself (silly) and now all the dates are blocked. The client still is happy to come and stay 1 week but he is not able to book it.

I tried to contact airbnb but its a mystery for me how to reach them.

Does anyone have experience like me and how can I un block the dates?

Contact them through twitter (Airbnbhelp) with the booking reference number and explain the situation. They may be able to help.

Do what @David-and-Fiona0 said and never cancel a booking again.
