Cancellation

Hi,
I had a possible guest for the house in Florida US, but I was in Italy at the moment of reservation request (6 hours difference), when I accepted reservation was 1:00AM in Italy, I wrote the guest to confirm ASAP because was very late in Italy so the site would let me write my friend for key pickup. Otherwise Airbnb won't let write telephone or email!
I've been waiting for a while but nothing happened and I felt asleep.
Guest has got a refund, but it looks like I hade done the cancellation.....but I never done the cancellation!
Is someone gently able to help me with this issue?
