Damage deposit

Hello. I'm a new host to airbnb. One of my guests to come in a few weeks says that she has already paid the $200 CAD that I request as a refundable damage deposit.  She says it is an amount that airbnb keeps in trust, just in case there are damages.  Is she right?

No money is taken from her account unless you submit a claim for damages and its approved by both parties, so what she says about money being kept in trust is incorrect.
