Declining a request

I had someone interested in a 3 night stay but the 3rd night is no longer available. I've declined her request but she now wants to book the two available nights, however she said she is unable to on her end.  I'm not sure if it is because I declined her first request. Any suggestions?

It is because you declined her. But if Airbnb hasn't changed its system you should be able to send her a so-called special offer with your price and dates in question to re-activate the booking request.
