Good Day

My apartment is listed on Airbnb for USD876 per month.

I received and enquiry from a customer to rent the apartment during February 2016 - a total of 29 days.

I received a message from Airbnb that will receive is USD792 should i accept this booking.

How has this amount been calculated?

You assistance will be appreciated,

Kind Regards

Derek Lerm

Hi @Frederick0,

I believe I have this figured out.  Your monthly fee is $876 per month but they divide this by 31 days and figure out your daily price which would be 876/31 = $28.26.  Therefore $28.26 X 29 days is $819.54 then you pay a 3% Airbnb fee which works out to be  $24.58.  This would bring your payout to around $795 which is close to the $792 you indicated.

I would accept it unless I messed up somewhere in my calculation.
