Has anyone been asked about this subject for a stay and if so....how did you deal with? Made me uncomfortable!

The guest explained that they were carrying it for protection as they traveled! Her boy friend was in the military! I told them I had never been asked this before and I didnt have any way to secure the device in my home! She did not offer if they  had a case to lock it in!  My feeling .... this wasnt a gun for hunting purposes! To much is going on in this world today! Thanks for you message and education on this subject!

@Bob241  I think this is a personal hosts choice to make. I would let hunting guests bring rifles or shotguns, but that's me.

I have never been asked, I do get Hunters stay with me, not an issue.
