Forcing payment in different currency

I have just booked a property using my CDN c/c. Instead of in EUR, Airnbnb charged me in C$, amound that is significantly higher than rate quoted on Oanda.

I am outraged at 3% conversion fee - it is a subtle way to generate more revenue. I have NOT asked for this "service".

This is a robbery. Even my bank does not charge such amount.
