Guest arrival delayed so thinking about letting property

Morning 

My guest, who was due to be arriving this afternoon  (Friday) for 6 nights over the bank holiday weekend has just informed me that she will not be arriving until Tuesday and will now only stay 2 nights.

She knows at this late stage that she can't get a refund, but I wondered whether it was possible to let my property for the bank holiday weekend as we're locally staging the Tour de Yorkshire and there may be an opportunity to get a last minute booking. If this is appropriate, how do I free up the dates on my calendar. Thoughts welcome. Thanks 🙂

You can't unless the guest changes dates and you agree to it - as you have been paid for those nights.

Why not tell her that you will give her a refund if you resell the nights she is not there?
