Homeowners' Insurance - Help!

Hi everyone,

I'm really new to the airbnb/short term rental listing and am confused about the insurance coverage.

I have been reading the questions, comments and suggestions and would like to know if anyone has had a problem with Peers?

One thing I'm concerned with is their requirement that the short term rental had adherance to ADA's requirements. In my listing I have stated that its not equipped for people with disabilities. was wondering if I insure with Peers will I be covered if their is a claim.

Has anyone come across this issue with their coverage with them?

Would love some feedback.

@Elizabeth272 I don't know anything about Peers, but I found STR rental insurance through Farmers at a very reasonable cost for an Entire Home.  They didn't require any ADA features to insure me. 🙂

Would you be willing to share the name of the broker that you used at Farmers? I was thinking that he/she may be more informed re:short term rentals in California.
