Hosting a group with a different length of stay

I would like to hear your opinion

I have a  group of let's say 3 people booking my apartment for 2 days.

One of them will check out after the first night and the others after 2 nights.

If I charge 10 € for every person after 2, should I charge third person for 2 nights or just for one night?

I live on the other part of town and It seems stupid for me to go and check how many of them are in the apartment the second day or to pick up the bedding and towels from third guest.

First time I charged the third guest for just one night but then I realized that more unregistred people were sleeping there as well. So I felt stupid 🙂

Second time I charged third guest for both days and then I felt unfair ....

So, what would you do?

Branka

You must charge each person for each night they stay.

@Marit-Anne0 ok, but how do you know that part of the group will really check out before the others? It is easy if you rent a room in the apartment where you live or in your house but in my case ...?

Well - you do not.  If you feel you need to charge more to be on the safe side, do so.  Like charge for two one night and for three one night. Still, there is the possibility that 3 persons stay 2 nights - you will simply have to live with that or make an excurse to go over and meet the 3rd person - like checking id.
