How to issue full refund

I accidentally told me guest THEY needed to cancel a reservation - when really I needed to cancel a reservation, in order for them to receive a full refund. (Under my cancellation terms - if a guest cancels, they only get a 50% refund.)

 

I tried adjusting my cancellation terms to enable them to receive a full refund when the guest cancels, but it appears that change is not retroactive.

 

Is there a way for my guest to UN-CANCEL their reservation, and then for me to cancel it, so they can get a full refund?

I would suggest you contact Airbnb directly to explain the situation to them; it will also give you an opportunity to discuss if your reason for cancelling warrants the penalties being waved.
