So if I decline, will that count against me? I guess I don't have any choice. I've already let the fellow know that it's not available. I thought the reservation wouldn't come up for a guest if the dats are already on the host's calendar. No?

@Robin167 I would advice you to accept the request and only then to let the guest know that the date is unavailable. Make sure you always block the dates that are unavailable so that not to go into such situation again. Never decline to any request on Airbnb.Good luck!!!

Thanks, Oomesh. I hope that doesn't happen often. Should I block dates that have been reserved on my calendar or does the site automatically do it? I was assuming that, once the reservation showed up on the calendar, it was blocked.
