I wasn't notified by email of a recent response

I recently changed my email address and was not notified by email of a recent enquiry.  I got the usual text and message on airbnb site but not an email!  Could this be because of the change of address or just a coincidence?

I think you have to go to "notifications" and update your information.  I , on the other hand have changed nothing and did not receive my usual text notification that I had an instabook guest.  Luckily I check ed my email and managed to get ready 2 hours before the guest showed up.  No text message for whatever reason.
