ID Verification Not Working

Hello - I am trying to upload my passport as a verification ID for last 30 minutes. But seems like it isn't working. I get a message that "We are finishing things up..." but nothing happens afterwards. I checked my upload / download speed of the net - no issue on this front. I also tried to exit the website and re-login. But this did not solve the issue as well. The moment I clicked on verify ID it showed me "We are finishing things up..." Any alternate way to get myself verified such as emailing host and asking them to contact AirBnB etc.?
