I had an inquiry from a very nice potential renter. She was new to Air bnb. She applied and met all of the needed requirements, but was not approved right away. After 2 calls made to air bnb, she was told that this new approval process takes longer than usual and she needed to be patient and that her inquiry would be a priority. I then called on day 3 and was told they would make this issue a priority as well. Unfortunately, because the reservation was for one week from today, she did not feel comfortable with Air bnb's delayed approval and cancelled her trip, and thus I lost an opportunity to rent to her for one week. I am baffled by why this would be happening and am feeling very disappointed in air bnb at the moment. Any feedback is much appreciated.
