No show guest

Hello, I have a no show guest who was supposed to check in yesterday morning. I've emailed 3 times, called 7 times (mobile is turned off). I have a strict cancellation policy so OK on the money front, but would like if I have to let airbnb know about this and if so how?

Emails to guest are on record obviously.

Also being in Greece I declare each rental based on guest's passport number and address. 

Any idea how I would declare income to our tax authorities without guest's details?

I would flag this with BNB either through your reservation or by giving them a call.

 

Not sure about the tax issue, but again check with BNB.

I have had a couple of no shows, nothing ABB can do about it, they are just a booking service.

I just called airbnb and they were pleased to be informed.

So if anyone else is in the same situation, phoning in is the right thing to do.

@Tina139 Whle it can be annoying, there are benefits once you have gotten over the fact that they are not arriving. You are paid and there is no wear and tear to the accmmodation. It happens regularly with hotel guests;;;
