Oh no....not again!

With great sadness we woke this morning to hear of yet another terrorist attack in London!

I wish there was some way we could reach across the divide and just give you guys a hug, look you in the eye and tell you we are hand in hand with you!

The spirit of Britian got the world where it is today, tomorrow you will turn the other cheek and get on with your lives just as you always have.

Crisis tends to build a bond of togetherness that seems to entirely escape the logic of those who perpetrate these acts.

Just be strong like you always have....we are behind you!

Cheers.....Rob

Stephen Weinberg, the 1979 Nobel Physics Laureate was well known for his views on religion. In the 1990 during a submission on religion he said....

"Religion is the greatest insult to human dignity! With it or without it, good people will do good things, and evil people will do evil things. But, for good people to do evil things, that takes religion!"

I feel Mr Weinberg was not far off the mark!

I live and host in London and happen to work for London Underground too. The staff at my local station used their 'quote of the day' board (every station has one) very respectfully. We're a strong bunch.

@Gordon0 Appropriate and thoughtful. Good folks in London.

I'm not for organized religion. Always seems to get corrupted. Doesn't seem to matter which one,

either. The real Divine Idea - well that's not any manmade religion, it's Spiritual Reality. And it's in

each one of us, if he/she suffers enough to look within. It's funny, though. It's not something you find or someone can

show you. It finds you. What happens then? Then there's nothing to worry about, so say many folks who have

'departed', then 'returned'. I'd link to YT here, but the 'net is exploding with fake videos, concocted tales and so much

fraud it will blow your mind. Talk to enough old folks at hospices, and you'll hear true stories, though.

Anyway, following the topic of this thread, this way of thinking is a viable answer to any mayhem designed to spark fear.

So, when your next mystery guest suddenly clicks 'Instant Book' with nary a word, better look up this poem:

Oh. no, now the attacks are coming. What have I done?

Consider this true documented story:

Na, nothing. Just a co-incidence. Nothing special. Huh. The nerve of anyone mentioning such rubbish. Sheesh.

Oh no, not again...

wondering where this thread will go next...

fear, bombings, churches... something that weaves it all together...
