PA State Tax collection

Can anyone tell me if AirBNB collecting PA State Tax is new for 2018?  Did this just begin?  Does it effect 2017?  Is it for all rentals?

I have tried to contact AirBNB  - but after 10 minutes of going in circles - it is clear they do not want to make it easy for us to contact them and ask questions!

I am trying to figure the tax thing out for MO, which, according to them, Airbnb will be collecting and turning over the tax for us. I am trying to see where, if any place, I need to put the tourism tax and state tax rate in on my end. I too cannot find any way to contact them. If anyone knows, it would be helpful.
