Payment for alteration request

Hi all

 

Contacted Airbnb CS about one of my payouts not being processed and they CS rep said that it's because the guest did not make payment for the alteration request. I was under the impression that the additional fees resulting from the alteration would automatically be deducted from the guest's payment method when he first made the reservation. Is this not the case anymore?

Do you have a confirmation that the guest accepted the alteration request ? If so, the payment should be processed automatically and the CS representative is wrong.  What does your future payout list say ?

If payments do not go through, you are supposed to be notified.

There used to be a bug in the system so that supplementary payments due to alterations did not process automatically ? Could this be the case ?  Happened to me once when the guests altered the number of persons at increased cost.

I Have had the same issue.

 

The rep said they would send a link to the guest to pay the balance.

The guest has informed me they would not be able to afford the balance. Feel like i will not get the money beside the fact that i still have not even received the origional payout as of yet.

@Riady0 did you get any resolution?
