Payment not recieved

Payment not recieved

This is the first time this has happened as we have always recieved an email from airbnb that funds have been transfered the day after our guest has arrived. Our current guest has paid according to a message from airbnb as they have to pay when booking. We first noticed something this morning when our January earning figures did not contain the current booking (they did yesterday) and there is no paymnet line in the transaction history. They have now been with us 2 nights, what is going on? How do I resolve this issue? Who do I contact.

Issue resolved, dashboard correctly update yesterday, email confirming payment sent arrived this morning the cleared funds in my account 30 minutes later.

Thank you for your information.

That's all well and good in your reply but if air bnb are meant to pay within 24 hours of check in why is it not showing up as paid out in our transaction history? My guests have been here 3 nights now and no payout notification received yet!

Hi Liz

Yes I totally agree. Tonight will be the 3rd night for my guests and I don't know when I will receive payment. I said in an earlier message that I had sent a private message through Twitter and I have had a message back from Airbnb asking for my email to look in to the issue for me so perhaps try that. OnTwitter search for  @airbnbhelp it's worth a try anyway!

Hi @Lizzie

We are full time Air Bnb hosts from South Africa and we are looking for help.  We have a guest in our apartment for 3 weeks and the payment still says "pending" on the air bnb site - we have been running three apartments for 2 years and never had this happen before.  We have no idea who to contact to action the payment,  could you please help us?

Thank you

Two months already waiting for payment of one guest although the other ones up to now were paid!!! Very bad AIRBNB

Yes it is and so unnecessary, I have been waiting 6 weeks for ANY payment. I still have not received it and it took me five phone calls, the last one not so happy. If you ring, which I advise you do, do not accept being put off, insist on speaking to a supervisor straight away. I will have spent all my earnings on my phone bill. I am very unimpressed.

I have the same issue, ididn't receive yet the funds release e-mail.

It is the first time too and i hope the last.

I finally got to speak with someone and they told me it was a problem with Paypal and that my funds had been "released" yesterday.  I contacted Paypal and they have no record of the payment.  Then was contacted by Airbnb by email saying it would be "available" tomorrow.  This is not satisfactory.  I am think of consulting an attorney.  plus, still leaves me hanging relative to my guests for tomorrow.

Hi @William, did your issue get resolved yet? It is horrible to think that they are deliberately withholding funds even $1 interest per host over 10 million houses is quite a substantial reason for not passing on funds. I am feeling disappointed and frustrated and taken advantage of. My first booking was January 3rd this year, I have finally _ after emails not being responded to and four phone calls where I was 'put off' to a fifth phone call where I refused to be put off and insisted on speaking to a supervisor _received an email to say that it would take 7 working days to resolve.

I am in the same predicament as everyone else by the sounds of it my guests are due to leave tomorrow and still no payment - who do we follow this up with - not good enough really!!!

When I spoke to them with relative ease, they where able to answer my questions. She told me that the payment was delayed because of the holiday. She told me to wait 3 to 5 business days and it should show, however, the payment came in only 2 hrs later.

Hi lindy I'm in the same situation if you find out how to contact someone via Australia can you post details pls, dinah

here is what I have, I have been offline, because I am so fed up with the organisation, I should have read these earlier, my apologies

This information is available elsewhere within the host forums, but because AirBnB seems to be making it ever-increasingly difficult for people to find ways to contact them, I'm going to start posting this list of phone numbers once a week or two.

And, yes, there are other ways to contact AirBnB (sending DMs to their Twitter account, @AirbnbHelp, for one), but many people want a freakin' phone number, so there they are:

Hi @ LIndy, did someone get back to you yet? if trawl through the community board under 'contact airbnb', I posted a "I have found a contact!!!!" with all the phone numbers. Do not allow yourself to be reassured that someone will get back to you, they won't, just insist on speaking to a supervisor straight away. I am really scared about what my phone bill is going to be. It took me 5 long phone calls to be put off for another 7 working days. The whole saga has taken 5 weeks.
