Can references only come from Facebook and if not    How do you request them?

I have the same problem! No FB and need to have references since a disgraceful flat owner wrote a unreal review on me. Luckily I have excellent reviews from previous hosts but...

Me too. Currently FB is the only option to connect with friends for references. The email option does not appear....where did it go? How can you input an email address to request a reference?

 

Anyone know?
