Should second guest have a profile?

We’ve have had individuals make a reservation then later tell us they’re bringing a friend.  They usually arrive together but we just found out that the friend is arriving first. Should the friend have a profile?  What’s the best way to handle this situation?

hello @Ted-And-Lisa1 ,

The person who booked the reservation should be there at check-in. So the friend can not arrive first, also you don't know who to expect. I had such situation before, but they were students, so i provided  the friend  a chair in the garden until  the others arrived. If you feel uncomfortable about it, stick by the rules. They can meet somewhere else and arrive together.

Thank you so much for your input. Great suggestion.
