Taxes

We are in the process of beginning to host, haven't published our home yet. We are still researching and getting things ready. But I'm confused on how taxes work and if I need to pay them out or if AirBnB does it for us. We are in a rural small town. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Great link. Thanks. I'm in TN so the only city listed is Memphis. Meaning I will have to find out about paying the taxes to our little small town right? I have no idea how to go about that.
