a guest is asking can they pay a deposit now and the rest later

Is there a way for a prospective guest to pay a deposit now for a weeklong stay a few months away, and pay the rest in a couple of months, about a month before the stay?

Nope. And trust me, you don't want this guest. The odd requests will only proliferate. And end in trouble.
