Unavailable/Blocked calendar. Your calendar will stay blocked and you won't be able toACCEPTanother reservation for the same dates of the canceled reservation.
Loss of eligibility for Superhost status. You won't be eligible toEARNSuperhost statusfor one year after your most recent cancellation.
For Instant Book Hosts only
Hosts who use Instant Book can cancel up to 3 times, penalty-free, if they have concerns with a guest’s behavior before or during their trip.
If you need to cancel within 24 hours of check in, contact us. Otherwise,FOLLOWthe steps below:
- Go to Your Reservations and find the reservation you need to cancel
- Click CHANGEor Cancel
- Select “I’m uncomfortable with the guest’s behavior”
- Provide a reason for the cancellation
Once you have completed these steps, your host penalties will automatically be waived and we’ll help your guest find another place to stay for their trip.
O DEAR JUST FOUND THIS ON ANOTHER POST, so unless there is a personality clash or a big issue it doesnt pay to cancel a booking.
