concern about upcoming guest for Oct. 7

I have reached out to the guest several times via email, phone, and message to arrange a time for key pick-up. I have not been able to get in touch w/the guest. He has not returned my call or replied to my emails. His name is [personal information hidden]. I'm wondering what you advise in this situation.

I often have guests who do not have wifi for stretches of time.   Give your guest the benefit of the doubt.

Hi @Jamie50 As @Karen77 said - guests can be travelling, out of range, don't have internet access etc. There are all kinds of explanations for the lack of contact. I used to worry about this too until I realized that if they don't get in touch, it doesn't really matter. Unless they cancel the booking, once that check-in day arrives, they're paying for it even if they haven't picked the keys up. I think as hosts we want to do so much for our guests that we can become like helicopter parents. And chances are you'll hear from your guest soon. Hope that helps! - Karen
