editing/extending reservation

My guest was booked for 7 nights, qualifying for the weekly discount. Then she wanted an additional day, so I edited it to start a day early. I got confirmation that the one more night for her was at the discounted rate of $65, but she says her card was charged $125 for the extra night. I should probably just call Airbnb, but thought I'd see if this happens to others or if you know what might have happened. Thanks~

If your guest has made a new reservation for a single day, has not used the weekly discount and more paid back the cost of cleaning and airbnb fee...
She would have to change the reservation in progress adding one more day ..

Thank you for responding Luciano. We didn't do a 2nd reservation, I edited the 1st reservation from my side, adding a day. And it confirmed I did it correctly, at the reduced rate, with no cleaning fee. Then it charged her card full price. I guess I'll have to track down that Airbnb help number.
