inquiry

I received a booking inquiry with a message requesting information about hosting airbnb's. If it is worth it, cost, return. It looks like she prebooked a night just to get into system to contact me. How do I handle this? and how do I let airbnb know this wasn't an actual request for booking?

@Kari27  decline with generic wording such as "No, sorry, we cannot accommodate this request."  Flag and block the person.  That will 'notify' Airbnb as much as necessary.  If contacted again, use the same generic wording and don't sign your name.  Don't personalize your messages, make them look computer generated.

Thank you so much for your kind support. Your recommendations are very helpful to me and I will use them as of today. I have now flagged his messages and blocked him and will do the same to the next guest with this kind of behaviour. Also I will follow your hint on making messages look like computer generated replies which seems a very smart thing to do with this kind of people.

Have a great evening everyone and thank you again! 🙂
