payment with debit card

can anyone please help me. I cannot find anyone at Airbnb to help me with this. I have someone who wants to book my place - he only has a debit card and he says air nb do not allow this. He wants to pay me directly which I have refused but we are both frustrated

Of course Airbnb does accept debit cards in general, @Brett19. I have always paid for my trips using either Visa or Mastercard - debit cards in each case. Generally, the guest might have issues with something else. Maybe with Airbnb's service fee?

I know they take Debit Cards, assume it is an issue with his card or he is trying to bypass the system, moven on.
