private message with guest

A guest sent a private review/feedback to me, I responded.  How can I tell if my response if now public or if it went to just him?

@Rhetta0 You can check your listing. The guest review would be there, if you don't see a response below that, then whichever response you sent is private.

1. But if your guest sends you a private message-- how do you respond privately-- ? I dont want our conversation public.  Referring to the private message AFTER the public review...
