received confirmation email but not confirmation in my host calendar

usually i get both an email confirmation and a booking confirmation on airbnb.  this time i only received th email but the date is still open on my calendar

HI Merly , the same is happening with us, the guest confirmed but on the calendar is not green.

It means that the guest hasn't paid yet????

Not sure where to find the answer.
