repeat messages from guests via airbnb mobile app

 every time a new airbnb message comes through from a guest it appears 4 times on my phone. can anyone help? not sure if its an issue with the app or my cell phone... thanks!

I'm going to follow this thread. This is happening to me also. 

But it's not regular. Sometimes notifications come 2 or 3 times.

Is was happening to me on the computer and yesterday a guest only received one line of a message I sent and today I have not been getting any messages or notifications unless I log in on the computer.

I get a message through the airBnB app, an email which appears on my phone and a text message. I don't know what the 4th contact is.

As I live in an area with patchy mobile coverage I have all three turned on. In setting you can turn the text and email contacts off. When I signed up I was asked to conset to all these contacts

I have noticed that some responses to the postings on this site also are duplicated.  Ahhhh....technology.  Never had that problem with snail mail.  Sorry just had to be that old person...

I have been getting 3 notifications from the iPhone app also - probably an app glitch.
